I think they disabled it, or possibly never enabled it. When I key unlocked at D2D I went to Steam and registered, which it accepted, before starting the install/download, then I came here and typed the message. When I got back to Steam the D/L was giving the error you describe.

I expect it will be working sometime before 9pm Thursday Pacific time.

Is that the official US release? 9PM Pacific time Thursday night?

God, I remember when my Portal 2 download was at 5% and I couldn’t wait for 6%. But Telefrog, your download is even harder to wait for.

I never, ever replay games, so if I don’t get to do something on my first playthrough, I will never get to do it. For some things, that’s okay – I loved that my choices in Dragon Age were meaningful and I didn’t get to see every bit of plot and dialogue in the game. But for my character’s capabilities, well, I’d like to see how a fancypants magic person can be without having to necessarily devote my whole playthrough to being a fancypants magic person.

Can’t resist pointing out here that in all the ES games I’ve played, you could be excellent at Destruction and swing a sword like Gandalf, to take one combination of many possible, without devoting yourself to any one thing.

Not Kerzain, but I checked for a manual and there doesn’t seem to be any located in the Steam folder directory. I did notice they had .ini files named as Low, Medium, High and Very High which I’m guessing are the graphic settings?

Nope, those are the user anticipation settings. Mine are set at “Very High” right now. I won’t be able to play until Saturday, regardless, so that mine is coming on a shiny disk in a paper box doesn’t hurt.
