Ok suffering first hard game lockup. In the starter section in the tunnels under the keep just after Ralof pulls the lever to lower the door and the cave behind collapses. Game freezes requiring a Task Manager close.
SOLVED:
If I stay and look at the collapse the game freezes. If I keep running down to the lower lever then collapse occurs but the game does not freeze.

I haven’t bought it yet either, partly because I was waiting on the reviews and partly because I don’t have any time to play it right now.
I got into the SW:ToR beta this weekend for the first time, so I figure I’ll spend a fair amount of time on that. Then I’m on the road and out of town most of next week, so I can’t play then either. So the first real chance I’d have to get into the game is around the evening of the 18th. I figure by then the real reviews - those who are playing the game here - should be pretty well detailed, the game may be on sale (unlikely, but possible) and the first patch will be out.
And if it turns out to be the best thing since sliced bread, I took all of Thanksgiving week off just because I needed to use my vacation time, giving me plenty of time to play. :D
Yes could be. Seems to be triggered by looking at the dust cloud of the tunnel collapse. Anyway I have managed to bypass the problem area. I am now in the wilderness and visited the first town. The game is magnificent. So much to see and do. :)
