Do you have a Kinect? You may just be too ugly.

It’s a pretty god-damn awesome quest chain…especially the ending - loved every bit of it. Be sure to get the clothes of who you killed. I like to parade around in it ;-)

Hah! Well, apparently I haven’t found anyone marriable that I’ve actually done a quest for or gotten in full favor with. Perhaps that alchemist lady in Whiterun will have me.

Yeah, most have you filling some quest requirement before you become attractive to them. Here’s a page that might help, carefuly, may have some slight spoilers if you read too much:
Some have requirements as simple as chop some wood for her (and no, that is not a nudge nudge wink wink, that is literal.)

Hah, aim a tiiiiny bit higher ;)
Nah I wanted to leave him with some dignity, considering how cool he was about the whole ordeal :) Though it is probably cool to walk in it, yeah :).

Ahh yeah I can’t look at that list. I’ll just keep the amulet on and when it happens, it happens!

Best advice is just to keep it on and do any quests any prospects offer you. You can also glance at the list just to see who is marry-able and who is not.

Well, that one Companion huntress is pretty hot. Maybe she will hunt deer with me.

Did you just find a random amulet? I think the marriage option opens up from getting a specific amulet of Mara.
Possible Spoiler Below:
The Head Priest in Riften will sell you an amulet if you chat him up.
Did anyone ever find this gal/location in the actual game? :

All women look the same once their clothes are off.
No, seriously, they all use the same model and wear the same underwear.
Aw, I can’t marry Lydia. I’m heartbroken. :(

Any amulet works, but you do need to talk to the priest to open up the marriage option.

I thought I read somewhere that one of the patches puts her back in the marriage game (someone said she has the logic/conversation in her files.)

Yeah I did talk to the priest and got my amulet. I was hoping I didn’t have to do the quest he gives you, though. I’m assuming I don’t have to do that much.

I’ve got to finish quests sooner. I have so many quests, and the info you get in your journal is so sketchy, I am forgetting why or where of for whom I’m doing a quest. I killed a dragon I ran across on my way somewhere, and I got the quest caption “Return to so-and-so” and I thought, hmmm, I don’t remember really what the point of this quest was and didn’t even do it as part of a quest (even though it did show up in my list when I looked) - I just ran across the marker and dragon. I was in a cave and out of nowhere after doing something I wasn’t paying attention to (got some loot? Killed someone?) I got a caption that I had completed a quest.
Wish there was a lot more info in the journal on each quest.

Yeah there are so many quests that I don’t see how anyone could play the game without tracking them.
You have to even take a couple of minutes sometimes and go through your journal and prioritize what you want to do, since I’m pretty sure I don’t need a marker on my compass for clearing Redbelly Mine of spiders.
Random dragon quests are usually received from guards. You overhear a random remark about a dragon being spotted in Northern Icehole, bang, you got a miscellaneous quest for it with a marker on the map. That’s actually nice because you want to kill all those dragons for their precious dragon souls so you can unlock words!

On the words - is the word you get when you kill a dragon at a “word wall” determined by what words you already have? I was wondering when I would start getting the second word for some of my shouts, so far I am just getting the first word of shouts I don’t already know.
