Bum mouse most likely.
Your saved game file doesn’t increase with repetition of saving. It increases because as you do more things in the world, drop more bodies on the ground, more items, trigger more flags, the game has to stream in all of this extra information. Nothing you can do about it, except not buy a PS3 apparently.
Ah, the wedding quest. Aela the Huntress was only into furries, so I decided not to pursue this line. The first two hopefuls I found for my male character after I started wearing the amulet of Mara were two middle-aged men, which was also rather disconcerting. (And really, does anyone want to marry the shopkeeper at Ivarstead?) Eventually I hooked up with Ysolde, the aspiring trader from Whiterun. Strangely enough, that was during a psychedelic debauchery quest where I had allegedly planned to marry someone else but Ysolde is a free-thinking woman who didn’t seem to mind.
The wedding was attended by a bunch of Khajiit who were probably from the trade caravan I’ve recently met, although that was strange since I had barely talked with them. And then there was my good friend Lydia, of course. But after the wedding… Lydia is gone! My wife moves into our new house as planned, but Lydia isn’t there. Panic! Is she jealous? Does she hate my new relationship? Or does she simply not wish to intrude? I clear another dungeon on my own, and then to my great relief Lydia is back. She sits in my attic, munching bread as usual, and readily agrees to join me on new quests. My wife and her pointedly ignore each other, though.
Also started the Dark Brotherhood quest line which is amazingly awesome. So much content!

I married Aela. I swear she gives Lydia the evil eye when I ask her to cook for me.
Seriously, if they break into a cat fight…I will never play a video game again because that could never be beat.
Ok not really but still, that would be awesome to have them trade barbs and such.

Seriously. I’m actually forcing myself to play some of my other backlog games because I know otherwise I’d just binge on this and burn out like I did on Oblivion. And this is better and more-ish in EVERY way.
Looking forward to whatever comes down the pipe to expand it. But you know, not anytime soon. Take your time. June sounds good. Maybe I’ll have actually visited the majority of towns by then :D
So i’m looking at my stats after 120 hours played. 248 days have passed in the land of Tamriel. I’ve found 169 locations, cleared 67 dungeons, killed a total of 1871 living and unliving things, received a total of almost a quarter of a million gold(!), and looted 705 chests. I have not finished the war, thieves guild or companions quests and have completed the main quest and mage college quests. My only character is level 42. I have yet to get any skills to 100. Steam says I have unlocked 30 out 50 achievements.
After 120 hours of Skyrim I’m not bored yet. Amazing.
You need level 70 Illusion in order to buy Invisibility; once you have Invisibility and the Silent Casting perk from the Illusion tree + either Muffle spell on yourself (also from Illusion tree) or DB boots which have permanent muffle means you can vanish in thin air and they can’t detect you so you can walk up to them and stab them in the face for over 9000 damage.
Multiple enemies? Enrage multiple, go invisible and clean up who is left alive. Or for bonus points calm the survivors and kill them one by one while the others watch and run screaming.
Anyone else encounter the Mage College bug where you complete the “Good Intentions” quest but are not assigned the follow-up quest “Revealing the Unseen?” This is on 360. No solutions out there that I’ve found. Bummer.

thing is, only happens in skyrim.
i’ve had the odd older fps react badly to the g500 but it’s rare. could be the autoswitching profile software the g500 uses but i haven’t setup any profiles or switching any dpi on the fly.
hmm, could be a bum mouse.

aaand it’s a bum mouse. happened in 2d win7. switching the g500 out for a performance mx.
I had a similar issue with a MX400, but only in TF2 and nothing else. Super frustrating, losing mouse control for a few seconds in a multiplayer game. I opened a ticket with Logitech and they sent me a new one promptly, no problems since. Apparently it happens with Logitech mouses, but with customer service like that, can’t complain.

It sounds like Skyrim is a scary game to play on console. No console commands to work around these things.

yeah, that seems kinda weird… Just the dungeons alone should take you quite a while.

Yeah, I am doing the main Thieves Guild quests… and man do they ever just keep going.
The College of Winterhold has 11 quests in its storyline (not counting the mini-tasks that can be assigned) and the Thieves Guild also has 11 quests in the main set.
The Companions get shortchanged with only 6 main quests.
Counting the ones that are labeled as Radiant (in the book - I can’t find that label anywhere in the game) that don’t seem very Radiant, but I had to do them for Aela anyway, and I can’t imagine doing them after I finished the primary line? You have to do at least one “radiant” quest at the beginning and at least two “radiant” quests in the middle to unlock the “main” “quests.” A couple of those are damned involved, too.
That’s still less than the others, especially since the other questlines also have radiant quests as well.
The Companions have 6 main quests and 13 Radiant quests.
