Look at this new bug I’ve found. One NPC that I met elsewhere in a quest a long time ago suddenly, for no reason, appeared at the Whiterun stables… stuck in the ground up to his torso. And now his mysterious twin appeared, standing right next to him! Both give the same name and dialog…

Could still be in place. Bethesda said recently that they won’t be addressing content bugs until January, presumably so that they can focus on releasing the SDK, which we learned is now integrated with Steam, which I imagine will make the development process that much more complicated. Right now, they’re only fixing problems that affect a range of scenarios.

Uhh… you read me wrong.
I’m simply asking if the mage companion is nice to have around or not. I don’t plan on including him in the thieves guild quests.

Well, the upside for the guy stuck in the ground is that he’s permanently protected from taking an arrow to the knee.

Animatronio? I mean Marcurio? Besides getting stuck and/or lost all the time, he’s quite effective. I use him as a companion for my whack-a-mole character. I’ve decked him with some gear and he looks quite bad-ass. As you can see, he can handle arrows fine - in the knee and elsewhere.

Are you kidding? Haven’t you found the Cavern of the Mole Archers yet?

if you’ve spent the entire first 35 levels as sword-and-board like me, you kind of have to grind pickpocket/sneak to be of any use with the radiant quests the thieves guild gives.
not sure if i have to level magic past the 140 i bumped it to to enter the college though.

Marcucio or something like that, he is a good guy. Likes to shot things with lighting, so is good antimage and antimele. I think you can give him some heavy armour, but I don’t remember.
As a character is tolerable, but that depends your tastes. I think I remember he have 1 comment that is somewhat annoying, but is not a combat one.

Only problem is I have like no mage gear that I could give him. I’ll start saving up on Destro stuff, since I’ve sold or disenchanted all of it.
The best feature of Skyrim is the collection of gamer neurosis it uncovers in Brian Seiler :)

You can do the ledger quests just by outrunning the shopkeepers.
That guy bugged for me, too. He kept spawning multiple times. I think there were four of him the last time I went by. All of them completely above ground, though.
You should see him try to figure out television.

It’s weird how level scaling will sometimes show its ugly face. So I’m like level 37 and pretty impervious to most enemies at this point. Then I go to some area and face enemies I’ve been creaming for levels, but because they weren’t level locked earlier, these same guys are suddenly a hell of a lot harder. Nothing like getting beheaded by an enemy that you are normally one shotting. ;-)
So I went ahead and crafted some legendary daedric armor. Take that stupid Foreswarn!
I wondered that too. I found him yet again, in the woods, being offed by some large Nord with a battleaxe. Apparently Mr. Letrush has bad karma. He’s a quest guy in some Riften quests too.

He is like agent Smith from the Matrix. You are going to be seeing a lot of him.
I’m sad that I haven’t had any hilarious bugs yet. I think my copy is broken.
Was just testing a new build and got my first bug: Mirmulnir didn’t have skin, he was just an amorphous blob spitting fire… :D
