Man.
I clicked that, saw the headline and was sure I knew them all and that it was a phase D&D went through in the early days (hence why I knew every single monster, because I have those books…).
Then came the Beemonkeys and I realized it wasn’t a phase…

The funny thing is that in occasions like that the thing you have to do it’s very simple. Just apply Occam’s razor! What is more probable, a obscure politically motivated smear campaign or maybe it’s only that your book sucks, not surprising for someone who has not written before a work of written fiction and it’s not his main job nor his talent in life.

I most definitely did know that, but saying ‘King’s Bounty is like King’s Bounty’ is a little too Gertrude Stein.

At least Stardock’s mods saw fit to shut down that review thread. I’d like to think that Brad saw one of him employees posting in that and realized he needed that thread wasn’t doing him any favors. Free speech is one thing, but you don’t need employees claiming stuff like that even if you agree with them.

Yes, i agree with you… but you know, those are the normal dangers of pre-ordering something before trying it.

I read a lot of this thread, and this thread is, bluntly, a giant piece of shit.

And what a delightful contribution you have made to it. Please give us more of your valued and constructive analysis.

Could you please rate every other active threads too? Use the 7-9 scale with an added piece of shitness measure.

Now that we are talking about “shitness,” FieryBalrog sounds like a kind of poop –

The Fiery Balrog – when you have had too many jalopeno quesadillas; it burns, but it cannot pass.

I suspect dinosaurs may have passed a fiery balrog or two in their lifetimes …

Mmm, because “constructive” is the watchword in this thread. nods

Not for lack of trying.

Our very own Adam B’s Gameinformer review is up. 6.5/10.

Ironclad developed SOASE, not Stardock.

Edit: Which he does mention later on, but still…

Gus Mastrapa’s G4 review is up. 2/5

Meristation review - 6.5/10

edit: The reviewer gave a 8 to Silent Hunter 5, lol.

Sent in an email asking for a refund. I’ve thrown in the towel on this one.

Troy’s Elemental review:

I agree with Troy on pretty much all of his points.

I see a lot of complaints about the artwork, but I think it’s a great looking game. To each his own, I guess. What is it that people aren’t fond of, exactly?
