And that’s all I have to say… about that.

Oh damm i can’t stop waching that.

Not a dinosaur, but old too, a dude looking forward for a remake of MoM

The voices of the past (2002), are asking for a MoM clone with a good random map generator.

What? Why would we care about a random anonymous post from 2002 about a different game?

You insensitive clod. Some of my best friends are from 2002.

Is the 3st post on this forum. The 1st post on this forum (or this incarnation of the forum) if you ignore the test post. Is fun to me that this forum started talking about “It will be cool to somebody to make a MoM clone”.

You humour sense is clearly different than my humor sense.

I still don’t know what your point is.

Emailed Stardock sales sometime yesterday about a refund, by the afternoon I had gotten a response stating that I could either, A) Go through tech support where they’d help me work through technical problems and if they weren’t resolved I’d get a full refund, or B) Skip the tech support step and take a partial (75%) refund.

I wrote back last night and opted for B. This morning I got an email saying my refund had been processed and it should show up in 1-3 business days. Pretty quick turnaround.

Next up he’ll be telling us that people in 2003 wanted an X-Com remake.

I’m not trying to rouse the anti-SD rabble, but I’ve never heard of a refund policy like that for a product. Do any other companies only offer partial refunds if you don’t work through their tech support process?

I can’t think of any company other than stardock that gives refunds on PC games.

Now just wait and see if you actually get it. I didn’t, and had to e-mail them again. Still haven’t received it.

I swear, Stardock changes their return policy for individuals.

Dude, I’m taking the 75% and running with it. It’s 75% is more than the 0% I’d have with it sitting unplayed on my Impulse account. Do other companies offer any type of refund?

Not that I know of. It just seems somewhat arbitrary.

The thing that rubs me the wrong way about that is that they know the game is broken. It is unethical to make a customer jump through hoops, not to mention a waste of your support people’s time, to rebate what is essentially a 25% sucker tax.

But yes, most companies don’t offer refunds. Though most companies don’t usually take this much liberty with the idea of what is a finished game.

Never, ever leave this place.
