New guy has a point. Seeing the vitriol in this thread spread over to Amazon now is pretty pathetic.

Such a shame that Brad, his wife, his family friend, and his employee kept pissing gasoline onto the fire, eh? Angie’s review was pretty mocking, though the subject material certainly seems to earn the derision, but she didn’t stoop to running over to FB and calling Brad a “crazy guy”, now did she? Matt is Matt, and he got dealt with here for his out-of-line behavior, the rest of the so-called vitriol that’s continuing is now largely being driven by Brad and those around him.

Post-release sales must be pretty much zero if they’re having to do layoffs, given that they had enough pre-orders to break even on development up to release.

rune_74: the first sixty or so pages of this thread are anything but character assassination; things only got hostile when the game was released in what Brad acknowledges was sub-par shape.

Oh noes, shame on me. Look, Hildago, Matt was being a horse’s ass in this thread. Do a search and you’ll find me at least once (if memory serves) asking Matt to not cross-pollinate the politics into this forum. And like I wrote, he got his wrist slapped for not stopping.

Brad and his employee’s response to Angie’s amusing review, however, is where I’m fueling my snarkiness from. And now a family friend and his wife are involved. You see the newest 1-star review on Amazon? Gotta be a Gallant friend or else the newest recruit in their agenda war, right?

And, yeah, if you can’t even get basic facts straight such as a person’s name, then I question your motivations and knowledge of the situation. If you’re so up in arms over motivations, go get your panties in a twist over Brad et al’s collective reaction and name calling on Angie.

Edit: I should add that I’ve been guilty of doing the politics pollination myself, pestering Desslock over something he’d written months earlier. That was wrong on my part.

You decided to end your 8 month long sabatical with a review of a book by an author that your husband has a stalking problem with is a very poor judgement call on your part…the amazon thing your “family” is doing is disgusting.
