I love anything that makes my melee dudes hot and melty…
Just like the marshmallows in the hot chocolate I just drank.

Also, I think TECHNO-VIKING wants a word with the above poster…

You realize from here on out, all QT3 will be calling Bloodrage the “hotter and meltier” spell. And as soon as one of us in the Elemental forum links to this post, it’ll spread the… love.

This thread needs some Slick Mahony and some of his sex syrup.

That background looks less like blood and more like… not very exciting magma? Just a heads up.

Kael, I completely understand if you all want to use Elemental War of Meltiness: Hotter and Meltier as the title for the new expansion. Just remember the little people when it comes out and you make bajillions. Wait, the expansion is free? Sorry, never mind.

In all seriousness, I wish you and the team the best of luck to make the most out of a difficult situation. FFH2 had fantastic ways of blending flavour with mechanics and I hope you can do the same in your newish position.

You found a Potion of Hotter Meltier Cream-Flavoured Juggernaut Oil! (+3 to Mechanics skill and troop morale)

Very long changelog for the final 1.1 release

Well, that’s good to see. I’m still going to wait for the first expansion pack before I fire it up (just because that’s probably how long it will take to make things really cohesive), but so far, so good.

Something is wrong with this website. I can’t find the like or upvote button for this post.

I was promised web 2.0!

Is there a tl;dr version somewhere? Jeezus.

That’s no patch. It’s a space station.

I tried starting a new game with 1.1 last night. With the new population system, do you regain used citizens somehow?

Still not biting.

Is there anything you can’t hate?

This was in an email I got:

If they’re used for buildings, no. If your soldiers die off, those can be replaced though.

Apparently some people are having stabillity problems to some degree still, judging from the forums. Kinda surprising since the last beta was pretty stable.

I’ve been lost through patches… Is the game supporting multiplayer now? How is it actually doing in solo with the patches? I had some hesitations buying so i would really like some players’ opinions.

I checked the single player out on the latest patch. It’s now significantly less terrible! But still not actually good. I don’t recommend jumping in. I doubt multiplayer would improve the experience even if it was technically feasible (and you could find someone to play against).

Stardock admits the single-player could be a good bit better. I know there are plans, and they’re going to start up work again after Christmas on a 1.2, with a beta for that in January

When saying ‘single-player’ are you referring to the campaign?
