I have an asp explorer, a python, a clipper and a federal assault ship. The clipper just gathers dust in the hangar, i got it when they were available to the plebs because of some imperial festivity.
The python is my main ride, though for combat CG’s the FAS is my go-to ship. Such pewpew!

2.2 Guardians hits beta today in case anyone missed the news. So mid October for release to live. I’m still hopeful they’ll squeeze a further update out by the end of the year, but obviously no chance of finishing Season 2 in 2016.

Beta Access goes back to the original Kickstarter. Like a lot of Kickstarters, higher tiers received earlier access to the game. This Beta flag wasn’t retired with the launch of the game, instead it’s given access to the beta servers for each major release. Once the game launched, they offered similar beta access for non-backers for $10, which is probably what you’re seeing.

Yes, beta access is only available for “free” to those who backed at the appropriate kickstarter tier, or who bought the lifetime season pass when it was available.

Yeah, I was rather surprised about that with the betas for Horizons, since I’d gotten used to having beta access during Season 1 as a Standard Beta buyer (end of July 2014).

  • Option to move owned ships added - it’s available from all Shipyards

Plus module storage and remote sales:

  • Ability to sell ships remotely (from different ports) added
  • Module storage added to Outfitting (not currently active in beta)

I bought this about a month ago after being disappointed with NMS and I’ve been playing it pretty much exclusively ever since. Bought a Track-IR and cheap hotas and haven’t looked back. Just hit Elite in trade today. Love it!
