Update: I did that yesterday. ~40 minutes, 39 jumps and 380+ LY later, I finally got some meta-alloys. Now I have to prepare for the way back. :)

Two comments: fuel scoops are AWESOME. And I really like some of the smaller changes in the 2.2 patch so far, like how your ship now automatically aligns with the destination star when you’re about to jump, and how the star you’re going to is not only visible in hyperspace, but grows visibly as you get closer now.

Remarkably, the alien ruins featured in the 2.2 launch trailer have already been found. If you fancy a little bit of sightseeing, it’s not too far out the bubble (it was ~ 400 ly from my home system), in SYNUEFE XR-H D11-102, on planet 1 b, at co-ords: -31.79, -128.97. The site is fairly large, and is certainly easier to spot from the air than the barnacles are–it’s around the size of a starport or settlement, and unlike the alien crash sight, there’s some interactivity to this one, with things to data-scan and artifacts you can scoop up.

EDIT: Today’s point update has flipped the co-ords. I have edited the above to match.

It aint full blown rsi, just the portent of it. The arm hurt like hell but i dropped the controller as soon as it started feeling bad. Some anti-inflammants and painkillers and a good nights sleep fixed it.

Flying my spaceship felt so good after the long hiatus. I binged a bit too hard lol.

I really cant go talking to my pc, I found it very hard to do when i still had my oen little man-cave, and now that the desk is in the living room (new baby comin’ yay!) its very much a no-no.
