The DNC has released its new ad pushing the message that John McCain is in the pocket of Big Oil. I think the ad itself could use some work, but in my mind the message is right on.
I liked the Big Jew parody of Big John’s ad better, but that’s pretty good.
The sentiment is fine, but its not a very well constructed ad imo. It relies too heavily on imagery, and not enough on telling us wtf it is really referring to. Was that an oil company plane he was on? Was the guy he was hand-shaking with a lobbyist, and if so who? etc.
This seems like a pretty weak response to the drilling issue which has been killing Obama lately. Then again, I don’t know what would be a good response other than shoving the greens under the bus.
