The crazy expensive take, he was told he couldn’t buy it and it was illegal… And then he fired the girl who told him that, right? And only cancelled it after it got reported in the news?
On some level, i feel like just saying sorry isn’t good enough for these guys. They are breaking the rules because they think they don’t apply to them.
And then when they don’t get punished, it just reinforces that belief.
I didn’t know he fired someone. I think that’s enough to have him removed from his position. I’m sure a responsible President who is ethical and believes in the rule of law will do so.
It’s kind of an ongoing conundrum when the reason he got elected was that he speaks his mind and doesn’t follow the rules.
