The Vacancies Act limits the duration anyone can serve in the role. In a normal, sane, competent administration, they’d have people whom the President would want to keep on. Here, not so much.

Really, going against the spirit of so many laws designed to give the President discretion in extreme circumstances is constructively betraying your oath of office.
The obstruction of justice during the Mueller investigation is probably near the bottom of the list of the things he could and should be impeached for.
