I have no idea what’s happening to my country. I talk to people I’ve known for decades, people who used to be sane, and it’s like they’re living in a fever dream. I can’t even have conversations with them anymore, we’re living in two different realities. In their mind, I’m sure Donald Trump is right, that “Antifa” is this dangerous group of radical Communists out to destroy America and violently attack people who love their country or some shit, because the “news” they watch paints that picture. I have no idea how to reach them or talk to them anymore, they’ve been programmed by right-wing propaganda.

Antifa is just the usual anarchists that have existed forever, but now they have a catchy name so they’re scary. Typically they do some property damage or maybe beat up a few people. They’re not the sort of people you want to hang out with, but they’re not Al-Qaeda by any means.

Also they tend to fight neo-Nazis like the Proud Boys so obviously they’re the real problem.
