Maybe he is just putting on weight and the President doesn’t want to be photographed with him anymore.

Oh my god that is so alpha. I want to be that man so much

And of course it’s not actually true. Tiffany Trump is not actually fat.

Twitter sleuths for the win

I forgot about that guy and thought he was already fired.

Remember fearing Bolton’s arrival on the cabinet? I thought it would be like Edward Teller and Douglas MacArthur and Johnny Appleseed all getting married except they’d spread H-Bombs across the world instead of apples.

Good thing he’s been sidelined because – Jesus, I almost praised Trump for his political acumen, but that certainly doesn’t exist.

Fake news!

It doesn’t matter if she is or isn’t, it only matters that DJT thinks that she is.

I realize that. It just bothers me that there is such a nasty comparison between two sisters.

Well, it is shitgibbon making the comparison.

If the remark remained private, sure. It didn’t…

This is fucking amazingly grating to me. I realize the President sits on top of the classification hierarchy. But fucking shit dude, he just tweeted our capability for resolution from whatever that picture was taken from, satellite or otherwise. It’s like giving your enemy the solution to hide. “Hey, I can see 2x3’ in a color palette of X.” Just change it up some.

We can’t get rid of this clown soon enough. And fuck every republican asshole that tells me they are better at military capability and security. Fuck em all.

(I may be drinking.)

After what’s happened today, I’m joining you

I mean that all but confirmed that a satellite, only suspected pf being a spy satellite, is in fact a spy satellite.

It also gave a pretty good indication on the resolution capacity of said satellites optics (pretty good really)

Dude just gave away a huge tactical advantage. Now people with more experience and knowledge than I can really break down some very specific details about the operational parameters and capability of current military hardware that they could only guess before.

Beer for me and gin and tonics for the missus. We’re grilling out and sitting beside a chiminea burning some great smelling wood. Come join us.

If I could drink, which I sooo wish I could, I’d be tossing a shitload back with you too!

It’s comical thinking about the classified emails Hillary got in trouble for. Stuff like, ‘Hey check out this new york times article’ and the new york times article mentions a secret drone program name, so the email is classified.

Granted that Trump’s tweet is a grievous embarrassment that no responsible advisor would let him release, I doubt it’s actually a big deal.

I imagine our imaging capabilities are well known worldwide due to occasional leaks from the hundreds if not thousands of American analysts and technicians in multiple agencies who routinely access the images and the moderate number of analysts elsewhere – eg in the UK – with whom we sometimes share them. It only takes one slip up or deliberate leak over many years of millions of images to let this information out.

And if, let us say for the sake of argument, Chinese CCDs from their own fabs are as good as ours, the whole issue is even less significant, because from a sample chipset anyone ought to be able to calculate the effective resolution.

Got yer back, man. I’ll drink for both of us.

We have literal teams of people that scrub released documents to black out anything even remotely classified. I can tell you for a fact, imaging is no less scrutinized. POTUS did not care, it looks like he even took a pic of it with a cell phone in order to tweet it.

And that’s what annoys me. That he doesn’t care. It’s like a shiny thing in his pocked he has to show everyone so he can get a chuffed moment of internet notoriety while tweeting a, "but we didn’t have anything to do with it (wink, wink, nudge, nudge.)

It’s not the CCDs that are the interesting part of these devices. What determines the resolution is the optics and how they adapt.
