I think someone Trump talks to talks to a Russian agent, and Trump gets orders mafia style. “Your good friend in Moscow is concerned about…” It’s never put as an order, but the message is conveyed.
I also think Putin is testing to see how far he can push it. It’s a balancing act of getting what he wants without Trump being so overt it undermines Trump’s base. But the farther he pushes it and sees that Trump’s support is unwavering, the more he will ask for.
This is the problem with an abomination like Trump as president. It pushes me into tinfoil territory. Anything is possible.
But that’s not all! According to Vox, he wasn’t fired for being an anti-semite: he was fired for making fun of anti-semites.
So why did he get canned - being too controversial, or making fun of Trump’s base? Given the Trump administration, I doubt they even know themselves.
That was a total hatchet job by Bloomberg. And, apparently, Leif Olsen is the sort of conservative where I can be against a lot of his positions but totally admire other aspects:

This is the ten millionth “Trump is thinking about dumping Pence” article, but it does have this very telling detail:
In the spring, Pence’s aides went to Parscale to ask if he could include a question testing Pence’s favorability on a poll he was doing of battleground states, according to Trump campaign advisers familiar with the request. Parscale said it was too late to add the question to the poll — but what he didn’t tell Pence’s aides is that the question was already on the poll, done in 14 states. When the results came back, Pence’s favorability was higher than Trump’s — something Parscale and the campaign’s pollsters withheld from Trump and Pence. But Obst, Pence’s chief political aide who also works as a senior adviser on the Trump campaign, used a mole inside the president’s campaign to get a copy of one of the polls.
If Donnie were to find out that everyone was talking about how much more popular Pence is than him, he’d go ballistic. And wouldn’t that be a shame?

Well, I mean, he did do that. He did a lot more (terrible things) then just that, but he did secure it’s independence.
