Well, the republicans have won in my heart, because when I see news like the tweets above, all I can see is this:
I know it’s dangerous to assume nothing matters because it’s a self-fulfilling prophecy. Still it is with immense skepticism that I read breathless tweets that something is “incredibly dangerous” for Trump.
“Incredibly dangerous” may be completely accurate, yet mean nothing to Moscow Mitch and the Trump party.
They didn’t know how weak weak could be.

The hell is he talking about? He picked literally the worst three countries to comparatively use as the high ground for actions by our leaders.
What a putz.
Really needs to update his tweet to ‘belly laughing’ rather than just laughing. The US government/ foreign policy has never been so laughable.
I’ll put as much stock in this whistleblower story as I do the monthly Trump nervous breakdown stories. An unnamed staffer says it’s never been this bad!
For now this is a super-secret person, though. MUCH more important.
After years of these stories and “NO REALLY, THS TIME WE GOT HIM” (yes, in all caps) tweet storms, I’m burned out. Too much crying wolf.

Nothing will come of this. The GOP are all-in with Trump. The only way the meter moves on this whistleblower news is if Trump had been trying to secretly enact socialism in the US with NAMBLA in charge. Maybe.
It’s sad that we’ve become so cynical that something like seems to barely matter, since as long as the Republicans in congress refuse to act nothing will come of it.
