Well I am talking about today’s population, and I didn’t mention anything about balance. It’s more simplistic like that, if you can reason that there are angels, then there shouldn’t be too far of a stretch that there are demons, of fallen angels… whatever you want to call them. Same with God and Satan.
We’re specifically also talking about Trump Supporters, and their link to religion and the tendency to over emphasize the religion as a piece in that puzzle. I am simply saying, don’t travel that path. There is one large and identifiable group heavily supporting Trump; the rest largely aren’t, so maybe not try to keep using religion as the reason for so much of what they do or say because it’s a tiny group within a much larger group of people with religions. Religion itself is not going to be the primary cause for these values they say they have. It can very much be a tool for pushing it though, a weapon if you will.
Sorry all - I love Early Christian Mythology, and I jump at any chance to chat about it.

Nah, right around January they’re going to start screaming about deficits again, and that the cause is entitlements. Expect Republicans to pin the economic downturn to that as well and try to make the election a referendum on getting the deficit back under control vs. Democrats’ reckless spending.

The best part about this is that a huge chunk of their supporters use those entitlements and can quote Reagan when it comes to them.
My mother can quote this word for word along with all her friends.
Some say that putting an incompetent ignoramus game show host in the WH was a mistake, but I just don’t understand that line of thinking.
