I’m trying to figure out how they even accomplish this. The only two ways I can think of is if they cancel or suspend or whatever your actual global entry account / number, so that your card doesn’t work; or if they change the actual system to reject cards for accounts with NY addresses. Is someone actually running a script to find everyone with a NY address in the system to suspend accounts, or changing the real-time system to reject New Yorkers? Cuz that’s insane.
