I really, really, really don’t understand how that marriage works.
Why does he stay together with a woman who is a liar and works for a man he despises? Why does she stay together with a man who despises everything she defends? And presumably make her work day a living hell - “what has your husband written today, Mrs Conway?”
I guess she has some pretty juicy blackmail material on Trump - pretty much the only explanation for why she hasn’t been fired. No way Trump would accept the kind of disloyalty from someone in his inner circle otherwise.

Maybe they’re both people without a conscience looking to make money from both sides of the same coin. Does Kellyanne believe the things she says? I get the impression no, she’s doing it for a buck. Does HE believe the things he says? Maybe not? Birds of a feather and all that.
I also have a hard time imagining a healthy home life for that couple. But, I’ve had a wise aunt mention many times that every marriage is a mystery - the ones that should work sometimes don’t, and vice versa.
I’m going with the Modern Art explanation:
Like most pundits they don’t have political or moral stances in the way that normal people do. Rather they have pieces or positions that they want to sell, and they adopt those positions that they think will appreciate in value. The actual content of the position is immaterial, it is all about what is saleable and what seems like it is going to be hot this season.

I get the feeling he really does dislike Trump, but I also don’t get why they are together. I would have been divorced a long time ago.

I hear you, I broke off dating someone over their Trump support. I’ve dated Republicans before in the past and there would be some real disagreements at times, but Trump is so much more than politics. Someone supporting a man like that, with the policies he has… I just can’t do it.
Clearly someone who thinks strategically, plans well and is capable.

Sounds like a perfect appointee, just like that perfect phone call and perfect response to covid-19. So much win!
Probably one of those very specific type of assholes who thinks it’s a power move to show up late.
Apparently he spent 35 years in the Navy - not normally the environment where you learn to be late, for any reason
What!? I bet most swabbies can’t even read a watch, even if they could take their hands out of their pockets for long enough to try!
(Yeah, sorry, reflexive army banter.)

Because of course.

The fiery response from Brussels was a sign of just how little the two sides appear to be coordinating their response to the coronavirus pandemic. European officials were scrambling to play catch-up Thursday to understand the reasoning behind the ban. The U.S. Mission to the European Union declined to answer questions about how they were explaining the restrictions to their European colleagues.
We don’t know, and anybody who knows isn’t talking - This entire administration.
Not sure about “fiery”. When I posted about it somewhere else, I called it “weaksauce”.
I wonder at what point the Dow nosediving will trigger the 25th Amendment.

Probably once the Fed stops giving them more money.

Trump will find someone who will if that’s ever an issue.
