I swiped this off of Blue’s News–it’s a test where you look at photos and try to determine whether they’re real, or CG. There are ten in the first round and four in the following “bonus round.” I’ll buff my nails against my chest and mention that I guessed all 14 correctly the first time through…although I admit that on three of them, I felt like either answer might be right, and most of them required a close examination. Anyway, give it a whirl.
I think I liked the boob test better.
I refuse to even try. A talented CG artist can recreate any of those photos in a computer, whether they were originally CG or not.
9/10 of the base set, and 4/4 on the bonus.
Perhaps a more experienced CG artist would know to include some minor variations and flaws, but as it is, the CG images are still too perfect and stand out because of it. Of course, given enough time, any image can be recreated to sufficient detail (imperfections and all), and most of the images shown are good enough to stand up to a cursory inspection (i.e. I would not have been very accurate if not for the ability to zoom in on the images).

EDIT: OK I just took the test for real. There were 2 nail pictures which I evidently got both wrong. My score: 2 out of 10 w/ cheating.

Especially at these thumbnail sizes. For the record, I thought they were all CG, and therefore scored 5/10.

Meh, this was first try. Ditto the bonus 4. A couple real ones looked like they might be really really good CG, but the CG were easily identifiable enough that I figured it was unlikely the trend would change. Roger, you realized you can click on them for a larger version I hope :)
