Fall TV 2024

Looking forward to watching the English Teacher.

Others on the watch list:
The Old Man S2
Tulsa King S2
The Penguin
Murder in a Small Town
Tracker S2
SWAT S8
Lower Decks S5
Lioness S2
Day of the Jackal
Yellowstone S5b
St. Denis Medical
Cross
Landman
Outlander S7b
Matlock

Its a pretty damn loaded fall season ahead!

New shows I’ll sample to see if they have appeal:

  • Nobody Wants This
  • Agatha All Along
  • English Teacher
  • Teacup

Not a lot of new shows drawing my eyes this year…

Definitely watching with my wife:
What We Do In The Shadows
Agatha All Along
The Penguin

Definitely watching, my wife may or may not get sucked in too:
Survivor

Watching eventually:
We just finished the first season of Slow Horses so we’ve got a little while until we’re ready for season 4, but we’ll get there.
We mostly liked The Diplomat season 1 so will probably get around to season 2, but it’s not at the top of our priorities.

Dishonorable mention:
I didn’t realize Shrinking was back. I thought the first season was just average, but I might get roped in if my wife wants to watch this.

So Matlock might be good, I am getting mild Boston Legal vibes.

That’s a pretty interesting trailer, actually. Let’s see how far network TV is really willing to go . . . (probably not as far as AMC, unfortunately).

Anyone watching English Teacher? We watched the first two episodes and it has funny moments but it’s a bit one-note right now. If the next episode or two are similar we will probably give it the axe.
