Before having open the Lucky 38, i think companions go to the location where you found them.

The presidential suit, of course. Thanks!

Do you uninstall your old drivers, or upgrade your current install as Nvidia now suggests?

Jeez, Meltdown can get pretty brutal. One memorable shot resulted in my losing multiple limbs, knocking out Boone, and fragging both every enemy in the building and all but one of the friendly NCR squad that had charged ahead of me.

Meltdown is not a well balanced idea for most builds I can imagine. Funny for five minutes, but it’s a real tragedy if you don’t have any recent saves before you pick it.

Just upgraded existing install.

Got in some more time on this over the weekend. Really like the different factions and how previous actions in the game affects your relations with them. I’m a “Good Natured Rascal” with NCR because I completed Cass’s quest the…brutal way. And while I thought Boone was pretty bad ass, she’s not kidding around. She mean and quick and I love her.

I am liking that after eradicating the guys pestering the NCR, they are actually gone, not just said be gone, but still spawning around. Makes me feel like I’m making a difference in small way.

Can’t say enough about this game, still. I purposely didn’t take the Explorer perk so I wouldn’t be spoiled on things this go around, but I think I’ll start up another go through after I finish the game this time and go full on explore everything mode…as soon as I get some decent guns. For the love all, good guns make all the difference. Armor is for idiots that let things get close to them. ;)

It is a fantastic game and I’m dieing to start over, but, I want them to at least release a patch before I dive back in.

My second run will be after all the patches / dlcs are released. It doesn’t make sense to play again and again each time they release something.

Yeah, same here. I might even wait for a good DLC release to do another run though. Not because I don’t like the game, but because I don’t want to burn out on it.

I don’t want to get all crazy, but I think this is the best Fallout I’ve played (I’ve played all of them and beat all but the second one). Period.

Where did you find this? The latest I see is 260.99 from October. Or are those the ones you’re refering to? I was looking for something dated late November.

Im waiting to see what kinda mods and DLC come out before I play this one… I already have it for PC but have shelved it for when I deploy… Compared to F3 what is everyone’s opinion?

Here.

I personally feel that Fallout: New Vegas is to Fallout 3 as L4D2 is to L4D for me – after seeing the newer game, it really seems like the older one was sort of a proof of concept, and the newer game shows that the developers are starting to put together the pieces in really interesting and unexpected ways. And I thought fallout 3 was pretty damn good to start with.

That’s actually not a bad way of putting it, except unlike the L4D games I don’t think you’ll find anyone who thinks the characters were better in the first game.

I just discovered Scarring Party and will be replacing all the music in NV with these guys.

I was searching through the garbage can in which I store all of my belongings, today, when I thought to myself: “do I really need all this maize?”.

Dude, maize is the like the best food in the game!

Man, it better had be. I’ve got 91 ears of the stuff. I see that it can be made into napalm, but that’s another commodity I’m drowning in. Why must I hoard quite so thoroughly? It’s hard to believe that any of the tramps you see are actually destitue, given the amount of freely available loot there is in the Mojave.

Teasing bastards.
