I thought the dream visions were pretty good by Far Cry standards. Remember in FC3 and 4 they were relatively pointless drug-fueled trips. But in FC:P, they reveal key details about the Udam and the Izila. Plus, unlike in FC3 and 4, they make you a god, which is fun.
I’ve enjoyed the Fire and Ice ones so far. The one with the tiny mammoth and the rhino’s was horrible, and I must have died 20 times.
Overall this is just a relaxing fun game, the hunting and gathering fit perfectly in this world. Also outposts don’t have a billion dudes, and the pets are just fantastic.
I have more than half the towers and settlements taken over now. Also came across a Blood Dragon Easter Egg, loved that!
