The chest is empty but you may now fill it with your tears.

“Don’t touch me… I’m super important.”
and who can forget
“GET OUT OF HERE, STALKER”
“Rrrrrride ze shu-puff?”

Not actually a “bark” because it wasn’t voiced, but I love it in Ultima 7 when you try to over-feed a companion they say in text above their heads:
“I’ll soon be plump!”

Yeah, I still remember the kick a friend and I got when we kept clicking on an orc and he finally says, “Stop poking me!”
I don’t know why but I always remember the commando from Commandos responding when you clicked on an area he couldn’t reach. “Yeah I wish i could do that!”
Jagged Alliance had a bunch too. Fidel was probably the funniest. His barks were functional and part of his character. He was known to be disobedient and sometimes he’d do what you asked and sometimes when you really needed him to pull the team out of the fire he’d have his own agenda and say, “Leave me alone, I busy!”
Ding ding ding! Correct answer. Now I have nothing to post.
Oh, have we done the Command and Conquer series yet? I loved the barks from the Commando in the first game. “I got a present for ya!” and “That was left-handed!” will always be with me.
“Mein Leiben!” from the original Wolfenstein always got me.
“Got a present for ya!” from C&C.
“Selected.”
(Which sounds nothing like “Selected”. And technically isn’t an NPC but, whatever. It’s burned in my brain.)
Oh, that reminds me of another good one from Vermintide 1 (maybe it’s in 2 as well, I’ve only played a few hours of it.)
