I love the Minbari ships from Babylon 5, they always looked so alive. Favourite ship from any media is the GSV’s from the Culture novels. No official artwork to go along with them, but they range in size from a few kilometers, to hundreds of kilometers in size. Enough to house billions of life forms. All super intelligent, with a sense of humour.
Wait, what novels? That seems neat.
The Culture novels. Lots of discussion about them in the book forum. They start at Consider Phlebas, and are being written to this day.
I envy anyone that is going to start reading the Culture books. Brilliant stuff.
