And when it bombs over the weekend I will never have to see another freaking Life Of David Gale ad on TV.
I now think Kevin Spacey picks his roles by how likely they are to piss me off. Smug little bastard. He makes such important films!

The Onion AV Club just savaged this film.
Everybody’s savaged it. I think it’s got about 15% on the Tomatometer. Spacey is certainly putting a phenomenal string of duds together.
Jealous?
I am. I wish I could get paid fat sacks of cash money to coast my way through disposable films.
Kevin Spacey on NPR this week…
“I have two criteria by which I choose my films. One: does this movie stand a chance of receiving a second viewing? And two: does this movie have a chance of standing the test of time?”
Ahh yes, then I can see why he chose K-Pax. I saw it 4 times and will remember it for the rest of my life…
FOR ME TO POOP ON!!!
That scene in Kpax where Spacey the Alien teaches the scientists a thing or two about planetary physics… man that was priceless. I was like “that alien showed them!”
etc
Yeah, and it was such an original idea too. I mean aliens have only been providing lessons in astrophysics to leading scientists since Klaatu erased Sam Jaffe’s blackboard over 50 years ago.
