after I completed Fire Emblem the first time, in every subsequent game (even ones from prior the ending, i.e. not new games) my troops always move in fast mode, i.e. you don’t really see the move animation since they just whizz to their destination. The toggle button in the options regarding this doesn’t seem to work anymore. I find this totally nerve-wrecking (I like my satrategy games slow), anybody else had this problem, or better, a solution? At best one that doesn’t involve deleting all save games?
I remember seeing this phenomenon before and I was able to disable it somehow. I think I may have had to complete a mission that was at fast speed before the slower speeds would kick back in. I’m not 100% sure though, but I know it wasn’t a terminal condition for me.
