There are agencies that provide websites that you can check out their available “talent” (incl. what types of scenes they do) and there are also places that rent out filming locations that have make-up/hair rooms, etc. Most of the ones I’ve seen are in the porno-valley in CA.

I stayed in Vegas for the porn expo and talked to some old dude after the AVN. He was 60+ and looked like Ed Asner and was clearly somebody in the industry you ought to know. He was standing waiting for his limo with his 18 year old “girlfriend” telling me about how he only performed once in a while, but still came to the office and tested some of the models.

He was seriously creepy in the casual way he talked about it.

Well, it’s nearly impossible in our culture not to at least know what the hot tv shows are and their general premise. Even if you aren’t interested in tv much most people are, so you just pick up the information. We don’t have to be in the industry it’s just way more pervasive than you think.

Alright, a smattering of details.

First, the porn talk/business conversation, which I thought interesting.

Basically, she used to be a hair/makeup person in LA. A friend of hers (a photographer) and her started a business to do photography stuff, do modelling stuff, whatever. So eventually they decide “there is much, much more money in nude pictures” and start a website around it. Basically this is more or less artistically done solo girl photographs. Then they branched out into webcams, more explicit solo girl stuff, and some girl-girl stuff. She just got investors and and new business partner and they are ramping up the business to include more explicit stuff.

She finds models not in the way I thought. Bascially it’s like any other modelling thing. She goes through databases/sites she subscribes to for regular models/swimwuit models/show models and point blank just asks them if they’d be interested. No hidden “Well, why don’t you take your top off for an extra $100” during the shoot or whatever. It’s just a a supply and demand thing. Some girls are up for it right away, some aren’t but think about it and get back to her, some aren’t at all, whatever. It’s all upfront. Her site is kind of an interesting twist. For a subscription fee users search their area for local girls (and I asked her if the girls are really local or it’s a database trick, she said they really are) and they can see webcams, see pics, whatever. Obviously there is no contact or anything but I thought it a unique twist. Frankly I don’t really want to know too much about her business. I just thought it interesting.

The date was awesome because before she came over she asked me “Have you had dinner?” and I was thinking, “ok, she wants to go out”. But instead she wanted to know if I wanted her to bring a bucket of fried chicken and a six pack of beer over. Of course I said yes. She uh, doesn’t look like she eats much fried chicken.

Also, she was the first girl I’ve ever been with that had fake boobs. She said they were really expensive and I believe her. Other than them being tremendously perky Ds, there is no way I could tell they were fake. They felt and looked absolutely real to me, other than being obviously not saggy at all. And trust me, I really inspected them closely and in detail. Bascially they looked and felt like a 20 year old’s super perky breasts. I always expected fake boobs to feel like a hard rubber ball or something. Not hers! They went in though her armpits so there are no scars or anything either. Kind of funny.
