First XBox and Dirty-Disc Errors within 2 days? Wow

Not that any of my discs are actually dirty… I guess I will return it, but what a drag. Is this a common problem?

From looking at the side by side comparisons at http://www.llamma.com/xbox/Repairs/xbox_dvd_version_comparison.htm I would say that it’s a Thompson, yeah. <sigh />

I thought they stopped using Thomson DVD driver a long time ago.

Maybe. I bought it from Shentech.com. Now it has to go back.
