Occam’s Razor would be something like she told Trump and the rest of the administration that she’s done with the whole thing, doesn’t want to be seen, doesn’t really want to be first lady anymore, and just wants to be left alone.

Right. If The People are clamoring for her to act like a traditional First Lady, and so she tries and comes up with “Be Best”, and then faces ridicule. If she steps back from the spotlight again, at least she can still try to raise a son who can be less of a shit as compared to his half-brothers.
