Folks, comics aren't real

My super hero would be “Sniper guy”. High powered rifle + tall building + home made silencer + high crime area. No way I would want to get close to any actual bad guy, jeez!

Hulu BAD. Hulk SMASH.

I thought you had to die to get those.

Another article on the subject, for those inclined to read about it. I really prefer this one.

(By the way, for anyone inclined, read the interviews section on the registry. It’s beautiful.)

Neither is the Bible but that hasn’t stopped people from living by it.

I like how they all have myspaces. Here’s one.

There was a Web Drifter episode about The Eye: http://revision3.com/webdrifter/theeye/

Years ago I remember reading an article (that I just found out was a “This American Life” segment) about a “real life superhero”. Great stuff. Really sort of inspiring in that “imagine if everyone explored their potential to this extent” kind of way…

Batman already answered this in The Dark Knight.

Angle Grinder Man is the best.

Seriously. That’s a super hero I can believe in.

Exactly. With 200 people running around in tights pretending to be superheroes, I’m surprised none of them accidentally pissed off the wrong guy or tripped on their cape and fell off a rooftop.

The really sad part is that I probably play with all of these people on my CoH server.

Man, that’s about as close as you can get. PhD by 21? Helicopter pilot, martial artist, mountain climber and glamazon?

If you really want a real life superhero, you need look no further than this guy.

Ha! Yeah, these don’t look too far removed from the costume contest entries from the official website. In fact, some of these look better. :p
