That seems like kind of a weird take, as you’re assuming that the character’s demeanor isn’t integral to the show in any way. It’s privileging the English director’s interpretation over the Korean director’s, which is neither inherently right or wrong, but seems like a hard thing to have an opinion on without the seeing the entire show.
I suppose so. I was just judging it based on that one scene with his mother. I just enjoyed the scene a lot more in English, so I extrapolated that to the rest of the show. Maybe that’s not fair, but it’s a good scene and it’s very different between the two languages.
