Listen, when we confess to crimes that should not be taken as an admission that we are guilty of crimes because these words coming out of our mouths are just sounds which may or may not have any subjective meaning should we choose to make different sounds at a later point. Anything we say can be interpreted anyway we find most appealing and nothing has any objective meaning or relationship to reality. You can’t hold us to account because you must use words to do so and we will decide which words have meaning and agency.
