Ah, that’s the guy I was trying to think of… I thought that Eichenwald actually was Abramson when I read that thread.

Flip, Flip, Flipedelphia.
They also had a system called the Electoral College that was supposed to prevent populist demagogs in the first place; look how that turned out.
It’s one thing to say they screwed up or made unfortunate compromises; something else to say they never imagined an autocrat. I mean, an autocrat was (at least ostensibly) why the revolution happened in the first place.

Hamilton talked about it pretty specifically as well. They definitely knew. Heck it was one of their top concerns regarding the Constitution.
Sounds like Parnas may actually do some talking.

I wouldn’t expect this guy to talk, given he’s probably linked up to Russians, and thus is likely in more danger if he talks.
Oh, anyone who thinks he’s flipped is nuts.
But his counsel is pointedly signalling that there are some questions he’s willing to answer
Yeah; I kind of suspect he’s fishing for some kind of immunity deal to pair with appearances on talk shows, a book deal, etc…
That his attorney is saying they’ll comply not only with questions, but also provide “records”, tells me that mom isn’t just going to be waiting in the car for Lev to go inside and say hello.

I’m not going to post the name here, but it looks like conservative “media” has ousted the whistleblower online. Scumbags.
Doesn’t matter at all procedurally as everything he said has been backed up by firsthand testimony. Still makes them unethical scumbags.
Also, Rand Paul has lost any shred of ethics he had left. Calling for the whistleblower’s identity.

I object to the idea that Rand Paul ever had any ethics to begin with!
