I think part of the issue here is that the story is getting too complicated for the average American to understand. Most people understand “breaking and entering to steal information” or “lying about getting a blowjob” but I’m not sure most people know what quid pro quo means or even why it shouldn’t be legal for this type of aid. I sincerely hope the story gets out there in a digestible format such that GOP Senators start to fear they’ll lose their elections if they don’t consider supporting impeachment.
Seems readily comprehensible to me… but nothing can stand up to the sheer, devastating power of it doesn’t matter.

I prefer to think of the GOP’s power as something more like a glass cannon. It’s scary, but at the end of the day it’s as brittle as the cowardly old men supporting it.
