I was initially suprised when Nunes yielded some of his time to a professional assuming Nunes would want to spin his BS at length, but then I realized the substance of the defense is so crappy and weak that it’s actually advantageous for Nunes personally to be able to blame the poor GOP perfomance on “ineffective assistance of counsel” - blame the lawyers! I thought it’s more about establishing the idea that investigating Burisma was based primarily on an honest attempt to curb corruption, and the Biden issue just happened to follow as a result?
