I am very impressed with how both of these guys have performed. Taylor is deliberate and thoughtful. Kent comes off as a true expert who can communicate with a lot of nuance and authority. It’s a good public showing for career federal employees that have gotten shit on hard over the last few years by our dear leader.
Also, the “we must believe that Zelensky is naïve enough to tell nothing but the unvarnished truth about ‘no pressure’ from the Trump Administration” part, because everyone knows how sanguine Trump is about being publicly contradicted.
