They know they can’t have hours of insane people ranting. Castor comes off as calm and professional.
He’s still trying to steer the conversation towards his points, but unlike Nunes ranting endlessly about insane shit and Jordan just yelling quickly, it comes off as sane and rational.
They could go full Nunes/Jordan/et al, but then they have no sound bytes other than their people screaming like lunatics, which while great for the base, doesn’t do much for everyone else.
Man, these hearings are making it sound like ‘never Trumper’ is a bad thing, rather than the acme of true patriotism. =/
