I’ve been catching up on the testimony this evening at 2x speed on the PBS youtube feed. That sign looks…different in the live video. Do you think they changed it or is this not the same sign? [note, this is the WP feed, but PBS has the same sign at a different angle.]

I liked his closing as well. It was impassioned, used a lot of tonal inflection, and I could swear I saw a tear welling up inside him at the end as I honestly believe he really would prefer not to do this, but damn it, it has to be done to preserve our democracy.
This thread lays it all out very directly and simply. It’s very clear what DJT was trying to do. Thank god for the whistleblower.

We had NPR on the radio for the drive home last night. One of their analysts (a woman, don’t know her name) presented what she called the main Republican defense - “No crime committed, Ukraine got their aid.”
She concluded “The Republicans have a point.”
Yes, quite a point there. And this is just something where DJT was caught in the act. Imagine the bullshit we don’t know about (yet).
I love some of NPR’s content, but their political coverage is infuriating. Someone else on the forum reminded me a while ago that NPR stands for “Nice Polite Republican”, and now I just roll my eyes when they inevitably bring on a republican apologist to do their “fair and balanced” thing.
The podcast is a lot better then their Radio Station. It’s much more factual and more honest.
