Feldman will have to be played by Benedict Cumberbatch when the made for TV movie about this is made. There’s something about Feldman’s look where even through he’s speaking with an american accent in my head I’m hearing a British one.

Is there any reason they didn’t just use the same counsel?

My educated guess is that each committee has its own staff attorneys.

The congressional AV club really needs to get its shit together. It seems every time there’s some small flub every time they need to display something or roll tape.

I have to say Karlan is outstanding.

She’s been great.

Tilda Swinton can play her and we’ll have a little Dr. Strange reunion.

Argh! I corrected that multiple times and autocorrect kept overriding it. I’m going to leave it there as testimony to my own impotence.

The Kavanaugh callout. Nice. She is crushing it.

Humanitarian recess FTW.

Funny, I don’t remember her leaving the Trump campaign/administration in disgrace.

edit: well, that’s supposed to have an embedded video. Click through to see him talking, I guess.

So basically, according to the GOP, Trump would have to murder someone on the White House lawn with cameras rolling to be impeachable. But he couldn’t actually be charged with murder till he left or was removed from office.

Also: “neepotism,” really?

Rules for thee; not for me.

There needs to be a new word invented just for the mindbending, deliberate, shameless hypocrisy these republican fucks literally sweat from their pores. I’m sure that Eric Blair could come up with something pithy (scumthink? shitspeak?) but he’s been dead for a while and I ain’t no Eric Blair.

Then again duckspeak and doublethink pretty much cover these fucking assholes’ every syllable, so maybe O.G. 1984 is just best as usual.

Yes, I think it was the hypocrisy more than anything that drove me from the GOP.

There are few things that I hate more than such overt hypocrisy. Especially when it’s rich people who already have every advantage… the game is already rigged in their favor, and they STILL break the rules.

“The Mueller Investigation was a flop.” O RLY? A whole mess of criminal convictions would disagree with you, Congressman.

I think it has to do with the mentality that if you’re not on offense, then by default you are on defense. So you have to always be on offense, even if you’ve run up the score 88-0. Which, to be fair, is a good attitude if you happen to be playing a basketball game or something.

And it’s the Gym Jordan Yelling Hour!

He makes 5 or 10 minutes seem an eternity, doesn’t he?
