I guess Twitter videos no longer embed on here?
When did that convo between Ron Johnson and Trump where the latter denies any quid pro quo happen?
Wow, that’s some disingenuous shit by Castor about Biden not being a probable opponent.

Did he really use a grocery bag?
Who TF is this Burke guy they’re arguing about.

Watching Castor stumble and sweat under question is the Christmas present I never knew I wanted.
Burke is the majority counsel for the committee. Nadler had Burke make the opening statements summarizing the case against Trump. Now Burke as the counsel is questioning the witnesses. Republicans are complaining that he can’t be both a witness and the person who questions the witnesses.
Edit: Yeah, Castor is cringe-worthy bad.

Castor: I’m gonna use a big word and not answer questions.
“INCONGRUENT, INCONGRUENT”

Castor: “Sure I left out half the statement, but it mostly means the same thing.”
Surely presenting the case isn’t a witness’s job anyway? Certainly in court proceedings witnesses will get told off by the judge if they’re suspected of making submissions rather than statements of fact or (for expert witnesses) expert judgment.
I suppose formally in these proceedings it might have been witness time he was using (no idea if it was), but he wasn’t acting as a witness, he was acting as a prosector.

Nadler about to beat someone with that gavel and I don’t blame him.

Sensenbrenner: “We need to have order.”
As he ignore all order and just keeps fucking talking.

I love how bad Castor is at everything. It’s like he’s the comic relief in this movie.

Castor and all of the GOP trying to burn time so that Castor can’t be asked questions.

Are the Republicans being more disruptive in these hearings then they were in the House Intelligence Committee hearings? I’m casually listening but there seem to be more so-called Points of Order and Points of Inquiry. Nadler seems to be holding his own.
I enjoy hearing Jerry say, “The chair will now recognize himself.”
Much of what the Rs are throwing up seems typical whining that they no longer hold the gavel.
Yeah, and he won’t give an answer to the fucking questions about whether Trump is directing people not to appear.
There was also a kerfuffle about swearing in or not.
The whole thing opened with Burke presenting for 30 minutes, then Castor presenting for 30 minutes. At the end of Burke’s presentation, the Republicans objected that his language was out of order because he negatively characterized Trump and his motivations. Nadler said that the rules of decorum applied to the committee members, not to witnesses, and Burke and Castor are witnesses. Then the Republicans objected because neither of them had been sworn in. Nadler then said that they weren’t sworn in yet because they were only presenting the committee majority and minority findings, not testifying.
After Castor spoke, Burke then left the witness chair and moved to the counsel chair, and Goldman took his place. Goldman is actually the witness, not Burke, but that means Burke is part of the committee and is subject to the rules of decorum.
I think Nadler is creating a lot of unnecessary trouble for himself.

Yes. It’s all they’re doing. They’re trying to literally run out the clock on Democratic Counsel so they can’t ask questions.
