It’s important you expose yourself to this, otherwise you won’t hear the defense and be exposed to those facts and you’re as bad as Fox viewers in their epistemic bubble!
In context of this impeachment, I keep going back to this quote.

Only because Justin Amash left the GOP!
If you have a republican senator - call their local office and express your opinion about calling witnesses (I just did). They should all be made to feel the heat (or the love, depending on what you say - I’m an inclusive poster).

I’m honestly surprised there aren’t more bespectacled middle-aged white men on the President’s defense team.
This made me laugh out loud. :)

Reminder 2392349234 that Trump expects others to have his back at all times without question, but he couldn’t care less about them.
I’ll say this much for the defense. Patrick Philbin is a lot easier to listen to than Devin fucking Nunes and Jim fucking Jordan.

In fairness, from what we know, Alex probably also liked grabbing women by the pussy.
If we are going to rank founding fathers by their womanizing ways, I think Ben Franklin comes in #1.
Any man who writes an article about farting in the bathtub has my axe!
He had an affair with a married woman that likely fully derailed his political aspirations, so yeah.
But AH may have also, as they say on the Simpsons, preferred the company of men, too.

Alex was a chump - should have gotten an NDA. He was low energy. He wasn’t a hero - a hero wouldn’t have gotten shot.

Man, this Senate trial of Hunter Biden is starting to drag. When will they be voting on his guilt/innocence?
@rowe33, the defense “doesn’t want to be talking about this.” I mean, why would those working for Trump want there to be a public airing of sketchy deals by Hunter Biden??
Yeah they are really whaling on Hunter Biden today.
I guess where the square doesn’t quite circle for me is that it is possible both that Hunter Biden’s involvement in Burisma was shady and that Trump’s interest in discrediting Biden was politically motivated.

It seems almost certain that Hunter Biden leveraged his last name to get the job. What we don’t know is if Joe Biden knew anything about it, or had anything to do with it.
It’s also not illegal (at least in the US) to hire relatives of important figures, even if the goal of the hiring company is to leverage that person’s relationship. Same in reverse - the relatives of important people are allowed to get jobs, and their relation with those important people, I think, is obviously a benefit.
This is why this path for Republicans seems so short sighted. The halls of Washington D.C. companies are, almost certainly, filled to the brim with relatives of Republican politicians. Same for Boards of Directors, lobbying and law firms, etc.
In fairness, this was almost certainly incompetence on the administration’s part, not malice. In order to have some forewarnings of the Bolton revelations they would have had to read. If Bolton had wanted Trump to read his book he should have used some killer graphics with dollar signs and Trumps name.
