It’s kinda funny. For a while I was an IT consultant at a huge law firm in Times Square, NYC. We were doing a software upgrade for thousands of laptops, and the occasional desktop. Two of the laptops I personally handled were Rudolph Giuliani’s and Ray Kelly’s. I should have… well no. But you know what I mean. :)
So, uh, there was a lot of holy shit news that broke while I was out having dinner.
News O’clock didn’t happen until about 7pm, but wow.

It is my sincere wish that I go to work tomorrow and watch this entire house of cards collapse, culminating with Trump expiring or exploding or something or busting his own kneecaps at 3:30pm.
One thought that’s been keeping me going lately… front page photos on newspapers all over the world of Americans celebrating in the streets if & when Trump gets kicked out of office*. Cuz you just know there’s gonna be a party.
*Or voted out of office, although those images would read more as a celebration of our new President-elect rather than a joyous exultation at the ouster of this mofo.

I drank a Blanco and Anejo from Cobalto. The anejo was very unique, and had a flavor i couldn’t pin, but then realized it was butterscotch. Strange for a tequila.
I finished up with a blanco from Arenas, which was extremely good.
Very nice! Butterscotch is odd. And fascinating. Might have to see if I can find that.
Back on topic, I hope the feds have Rudy on tape doing all the things. One more rat overboard.
I’m surprised everyone is so excited by the prospect of Rudy Guliani’s henchmen being arrested. Ultimately, isn’t the DOJ responsible for prosecution? Which means if Barr has any say (and it certainly seems he does), this is all going to get swept under the rug. And judging from the SDNY joining Trump’s lawsuit against the release of his tax returns, it seems like they might be compromised too. I mean, they actually got to post bail after attempting to flee the country…
I’m amazed they were even arrested. I’ll be even more amazed if anything happens to Guliani or comes of these current arrests. The DOJ is working for Trump, not America, so I’m really curious as to what power dynamics are happening behind the scenes. Maybe the FBI forced their hand?
