Meanwhile…

Wowsers.

“I can say in all candor, that after thousands of hours of hearings, I have never had a witness that came across as substantive per minute as she did.”

This seems like he’s definitely trying to put some space between himself and the Administration on this matter:

So last week there was some foofaraw raised in some quarters that the Democrats in the House were already blowing things by entering into agreements to testify, rather than issue subpoenas.

It now looks like they did indeed issue subpoenas closely behing or right along with those invitations to testify. (Hill and Sondland both got subpoenaed; I’d imagine the other folks from State testifying this week did too.)

And, given the tenor of the responses so far and the distancing being done from the Administration (hoo-boy, that letter that Mike O just posted) makes me think that the House Dems may have had a good handle on the mood all along.

LOL…

Saddle up…

When John Bolton is one of the grownups in the room going “Oh shit…”

Only 0.08 Scaramuccis! A new record!

So it looks like the House will have a rock solid case that Trump wanted to blackmail the Ukraine to investigate (and of course the outcome would be predetermined) Biden and his son.

And the Senate is going to say “yep, he did it, and we don’t care. We’re cool with that now.”

And suddenly every regime that wants something from the US will come forward with a gift of dirt about one of Trump’s opponents. It’ll be a bonanza.

8 centimuccis!

Everybody please to get under the bus

Bolton instructed Fiona Hill to notify the chief lawyer for the National Security Council that Giuliani was working with Mick Mulvaney, the acting White House chief of staff, on a rogue operation with legal implications,

Holy fucking shit. That’s the money shot.

You guys are gonna feel bad when John Bolton ends up being the hero.

“the enemy of my enemy etc etc”

Bolton’s resignation was the day after the news began to spread outside of Trump’s inner circle that he was witholding military aid to Ukraine to pressure them to cooperate with Giuliani. It was also the day after the whistleblower complaint became public (but before WE knew what it was concerning).

Seems hard to believe Bolton departure was unrelated.

Would have never have pegged Bolton as a Deep Stater.

Just shows how deep…
