Fox News has gone full Infowars at this point. They know how much ratings (and therefore money) there is in being the only network catering to the right, and the right is moving further and further towards “crazy religious zealot conspiracy theorist gun-toting liberal-hating racist whackjob” every day, so Fox News has to move that direction as well.
People like Hannity, Dobbs, Carlson, Ingraham, etc. are probably smart enough to recognize that what they are doing is not good for America, but the money Fox is throwing at them makes it all acceptable. Also, the fact that they know none of them will ever work in serious journalism again after their stints on Fox makes it easier to just say ridiculous bullshit and collect the check.

I think Carlson knows what he’s doing is dangerous. It has probably never crossed Hannity’s mind to think of anyone or anything but himself. Dobbs on the other hand… that guy seriously makes me uneasy. He comes across as a True Believer zealot.

It’s hard to even respond to this level of idiocy. The fact that Carlson, Hannity, and everyone else that blatantly manipulates religion for their own selfish agendas haven’t been struck down by holy retribution seems like pretty telling evidence that there’s no benevolent god out there watching over creation.
My greatest regret about religion being a silly pack of nonsense is that there isn’t a Hell for all these “Christians” to burn in at the end of the day.
