Again, Pirro’s propaganda against the constant backdrop of a waving American flag just creeps me out. Catching a bit of her show in the run-up to the 2016 was the moment I realized just how bad things had gotten. I was visiting a (former) friend’s family and one of the siblings was an especially hardcore Trump crazy, who was watching the show. Watching her rant and rave (I don’t know how else to describe it, it seemed like a political TV evangelist almost ready to start speaking in tongues) while he stared wide-eyed soaking it all up just creeped me out on a fundamental level. I had to excuse myself and I’ve never been back. They used to be decent people (or at least seemed to be), but not any more. Lost to a cult.

Scheduled physical exams are not usually done at hospitals. That’s what the physician offices are for or maybe a walk-in clinic. I realize he’s a VIP, but it still sounds weird for a routine thing even for the POTUS.

Wishing him dead seems a step too far. I want him gone from any position of power, but I don’t feel comfortable wishing someone dead. My Republican “friends” used to wish Obama died, and that always seemed a step too far. Is it any better for us to wish the same?

I agree. I don’t wish for him to die (and I find all the guillotine memes flying around to be distasteful) but I do wish Trump a long life in a medium security prison.

It would be better for our Democracy that anyone actively works against it winds up in jail/prison rather than just… dead.
