That guy is a big Trump supporter. His ads are endorsed by (mostly) right-wing radio personalities up here in Canada.

Desperately trying to cover anything that isn’t the impeachment trial.

22 seconds of live coverage of the impeachment trial, total, between 7 and 11 pm yesterday.
Amazing.
The fun part will be to compare how much they show of the Trump defense team.
I watched a bunch on interviews with Alan Dershowitz on CNN mostly Alan vs Jeff Tobin. But I haven’t seen as tough interview as he got from Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday. He challenged both Alan’s changing opinion from the Clinton impeachment, to his constitutional interpretation. Very impressive,

We would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn’t for those meddling lawyers.

Such a concentrated mass of pure shitheads on that network. It’s got to be a coincidence right??
I don’t understand this. Why don’t they just make up fake poll numbers? 89% NO! WITCH HUNT! 10% Unsure. 1% Yes.
Fox has zero commitment to the truth, so when they show unfavorable polls I get confused.
I’m always curious what the context is. Like, is the newscaster adding commentary like “Looks like we have another hacked poll, folks!”?
Or do those polls just never get aired?

They get aired. They serve a purpose; if Fox News viewers aren’t terrified of a socialist takeover, ratings go down.
Yeah, the Fox News Polling group is highly respected, very competent, and utilize great methodologies that tend to accurately reflect the culture. How they are in any way associated with the rest of the Murdoch empire is just one of those flabbergasting mysteries for the ages.
One might argue that Fox have a deeper investment in knowing exactly what people are thinking and feeling to better enable their relentless fearmongering and to help sculpt the exact form of their propaganda to best suit the existing positions of their viewership. . .
Heh, good point. It takes good solid information to plan a proper campaign of disinformation. The irony amuses me.
On the one hand, stuff like Fox Poll and Chris Wallace are useful beards allowing Fox to say “see? see? we do real journalism!”
On the other hand, to the extent that those people do indeed do real journalism, I don’t wish to disparage it. Shep Smith, I think it was, did the most effective takedown of the Uranium One BS that I at least saw on the interwebs.

I notice that Fox is actually carrying the Trump defense team’s arguments in their entirety, live.

Well it fits their programming. Bullshit, lies and more bullshit. So…

They’re mustering the “I didn’t know that man” defense?
