Ok, so the actual covid19 thread moved fast, but this was so insane that it needs to be seen.
So OANN is Fox’s idiot little brother.
Trump calls on them during briefings when even Fox is asking him questions that are too hard.
Today, he calls on their idiot reporter, and they ask a question like, “why are all the other networks so bad, and why don’t they want to cover these briefings?”
To which Trump of course just used it as a chance to attack the media.
That’s appalling, and she should be ostracized by every news outlet forever.
But here’s where it gets really good.
About maybe 10 minutes later, Trump calls on her again. And she’s asks EXACTLY the same question.
And while she’s asking it, EVERY other reporter there looks at her with an expression like, “Holy shit girl, are you really doing this?” To the extent that she actually kind of chokes up, and can barely finish the question.
And then Trump just goes on to answer the question again and attack the media
It was amazing.

Ah, found it using the C-SPAN feed, thanks! How fucking bizarre…it seems like halfway through asking it (again), she realizes she’s asking the same question. But the fucking moron just uses it to toot his own horn yet again. It’s 35 minutes later and we all know his mind can’t possibly retain information for that long so it’s understandable.

I stopped watching the daily puppet show last week. I look for Fauci interviews to watch, but the official press conferences have no value.
I mean, when does he ever pass up an opportunity to toot his own horn. I’m pretty sure he went to the “reporter” again precisely so they would let him do it.

Very informative thread, especially about how much FOX charges cable operators to carry FOX News. But it’s totally unrealistic to think that there will be a popular uprising of people calling their cable companies to tell them not to pay FOX so much.
